Your dog's home away from home

Going somewhere that your pup can't tag along? Bring them to RcK9 and they'll have a blast! We have many options to make your dog's stay more enjoyable, from nature strolls to brain teaser puzzles! We can even give your dog a "spaw" day so they smell nice and fresh when it's time to go.

 For any type of stay we require:

• Proof of Rabies (a certificate not a tag)
• Distemper
• Kennel Cough
• A negative fecal EVERY 6 months
• Proof of Flea/Tick & Heartworm prevention

 While we don’t require them, we recommend Lyme and Lepto- especially for the dogs who go on group hikes. 

We don't require a heartworm test but HIGHLY recommend it for the safety of your pup. 

   Your dogs proof of vaccines can be  brought to us, emailed to vaccines@recurvek9.com or uploaded right into your account. Your vet  should be able to email them for you as well.  

Your dog MUST be crate trained in order to board with us! 

For some types of boarding we require that your dog pass an evaluation and or be a regular daycare attendee in order to maintain familiarity with our staff, routines and the other dogs.

Preferred Boarding includes group play, so prior to sending your pup to preferred daycare or boarding we require an evaluation and regular daycare attendance so that your pup maintains familiarity with our routines, staff and the other dogs.   

$70 per night

Muzzle Musketeer ™️We have a one of a kind program for those special dogs who are excellent 99% of the time but once in a blue moon they make a decision that could get them into trouble. Just because a dog is wearing a muzzle does not mean they are a bad dog! It means that their caretaker is super responsible and doing their part to make sure everyone stays safe. Our on staff trainers are the sole handlers and expressly trained (by Stephanie herself!) to integrate our Muzzle Musketeers ™️safely into the groups. So you can rest assured that your Musketeer will have a great time and stay safe

 while boarding with us.

Additional trainer evaluation may be required in addition to regular evaluation prior to acceptance into our muzzle program.

$80 per night

Exclusive Boarding Now we have the ability to offer care for dogs who absolutely CAN NOT be in group with other dogs. They will have their very own suite and assigned handler for outings in a private play area throughout their stay. Check out the "A la carte" menu to make sure they never get board while with us!

$90 per night

Select Boarding is for our friends who need boarding but have not done the eval process! You can opt to have your dog evaluated during their stay as well as adding group play sessions! If regular daycare attendance is maintained after initial boarding stay, your pup will be eligible for the "Preferred" daycare and boarding rates.   

$80 per night

 Our pick up and drop off times for  dog boarding are similar to daycare with a few exceptions. 

Morning Window for drop off and pick up for boarding is between 6-10 am - pick up from boarding after 10am but before 12 will result in a 1/2 day charge for daycare.

Midday Window for drop off and pick is between 12-2pm -pick up from boarding after 12pm will result in a charge for a full day of daycare.  

• Your dog is of course welcome to stay for a full day of daycare before you pick up from boarding if need be- just let us know when you'll be picking up.

We DO NOT ALLOW drop off for boarding after 2 pm because we want to give your dog ample time to acclimate into the group and expend some energy before being kenneled for the night. 

• Saturday pick and up drop off from 8am to 10am ONLY.  
• No pick ups or drop offs on Sunday.  
• There is staff on the weekends but for care of the dogs only, we are closed to the public after 10am on Saturdays. 

•  When dropping off for boarding please make sure to bring pre-portioned meals with enough for a few extra days.  There will be a $15 fee for non pre-portioned meals. 

• We do have house food for emergencies but it's better for your pup's stomach to keep them on the food that they are used to. 

• We have the ability to  refrigerate perishable items if need be. 

  Our staff has years of collective experience in the veterinary field so we are  happy to accommodate  those pups that require daily medications or injections.

There is an additional daily fee for medication requirements. 

Please let us know if your dog has any allergies!

•    We ask that you don't bring your pets personal belongings when they come to stay with us as we can not be responsible for them.   We have plenty of clean beds and blankets for your pup.

•   If you absolutely must bring something from home, it MUST be properly labeled, otherwise we will send it home with you.  We will make every attempt to send your pet's belongings home with them but make NO GUARENTEE, sometimes dogs chew things.
